After a one year pause the Full Moon festival is back in full force. This year it will happen from July 21st to 28th at the old airbase in Wittstock at about an hour drive from Berlin in Germany. Plenty of Dacru action on the impressive line-up: DigiCult, Ephedrix and Aquila are all playing on Saturday July 24th. Other sounding names on the line-up are Talamasca, Vibe Tribe, Perplex, Mekkanikka, Burn In Noise, Headroom, Avalon, Ital, Ticon, S-Range, Fatali, X-Noize and many more. There will also be a special Parvati Records stage to celebrate the 10 years of existence of this label.

Friday February 12th is the date for DigiCult, Aquila and Nemesis to pay at Carneval in Trance. That's a two day event organized by Listen&Enjoy and Luna Club in Cologne, Germany. For more information you can have a look at the flyer or click here for the goabase party details.

In a last minute setup DigiCult and Nemesis will be playing at a club in Delhi tonight. The gig in India's capital is organized by our friends from Namaha records.

The weekend from February 5th to 7th is the time for the Chakra View festival in India. The location is set in the beautiful jungle of Agonda near to the finest beaches of Goa. DigiCult and Nemesis will be performing in India for the first time, conquering a new country for Dacru! The festival is looking good with different stages, other activities, performances and plenty of attention for the ecological needs. And of course a fine line-up including also Atomic Pulse, Z-Machine, Slider, Sungirl and many more.

Dacru Records will be presented at China's most important online radio that is dedicated to electronic music. Go to www.udancecn.com. We will get a full two hours during the Magic Garden Concept show. They will talk about the label, the artists, play some single tracks and also the Essentials mix will be aired in full. It will be on air on Shanghai time, that is Belgian (Central European) time minus 7 hours. Below is some more info about the exact times. Thursday should be the first chance to catch the show. We have also included the info in Chinese for all our Chinese visitors. A number, we are sure, that runs into the thousands :)

The local Belgian radio station Crazy FM will be airing Essentials Vol.1 mixed by Dj's Oonah & Bonas on Sunday January 31st. You can hear it between 23h and midnight Belgian time during the program 'Underground Alert' hosted by DJ Domi Rè. That's at 105.7 FM for Ghent and 105.2 FM for Eeklo.

Our UK resident and label dj, Kristian, is going to release a second full album with his project Dejavoo. 'The Remixes' will feature to nobody's surprise plenty of remixes. Amongst many other fine tracks, also DigiCult's track'Out of this World' was remixed by Dejavoo. The album will be out in March on Transient Records. Read below for more info in their own words:

Good news for all the Dacru fanatics in India! For the first time some Dacru artists will be going to this beautiful country to perform in front of the Indian crowd. The honor is reserved for the DigiCult live act and Nemesis dj set. Both will be available from January 28th to February 8th 2010, so booking opportunity is limited to only 2 weekends! Saturday October 17th DigiCult is playing close their home town of Ghent in Belgium! A nice opportunity for the fans to catch them close to home. The party is named Sanctuary, other artists on the line-up include dj's Anoebis, Israfel, Javi, Gnome vs Aikke and Psycat & In2now.

Saturday & Sunday September 19th & 20th there will be a next edition of the T.P.E. open air festival. The event is happening at the Takagawa Space Camp near Tokyo in Japan. On the line-up two live acts by Dacru: DigiCult and Chronos. And also two dj sets: Nemesis and Hessell. Furthermore the line-up is completed with Japanese djs, a few familiar sounding names might be Tokage, Yoshidance and Sari. Take a look at the flyer for more information.

Nova's Incident VIII open air 2009 will happen August 29th and 30th. The concept is known: 28 hours of cosy party time in an amazing location in the most beautiful part of Belgium, close to Liége, Aachen (Germany), Maastricht (The Netherlands) and Luxembourg. We have a main open air area offering mainly full on and oldschool goatrance, an indoor bunker area with progressive powered by Purple Snow and a chill out presented by Mindmelt. Some of the main line-up attractions are Khetzal, Kristian, Loop Generation and a big chunk of Dacru artists like DigiCult, Ephedrix, Aquila, Chronos, Sufi and more. The first weekend of September, from the 4th to the 6th is reserved for the Roenaissance festival in Italy! Also last year Dacru was represented at this amazing spot in the Alps near Bolzano and this year we are back with a nearly complete label presentation. Check their myspace for some impressions and if any way you can, then this festival is a must-attend! :)

The famous Ozora festival in Hungary has reached it's 10th anniversary. And for the first time they will enjoy some Dacru input with a special and exclusive DigiCult dj set! Which you can catch on the sunday morning after the Protoculture live act. Also DJ Kristian will be playing a dj set. For all festival info you can visit their website at www.ozorafest.hu. The dates to keep in mind are August 11th to 16th.
The list of performing artists is long, but to give you an impression of some of the names you can expect: Electric Universe, Hallucinogen, Jaia, Juno Reactor, Logic Bomb, Man With No Name, Shpongle, Son Kite, Silicon Sound, Talamasca, Transwave and many many others.

The Aurora festival has only arrived at their second edition this year, but still it is rapidly becoming one of Europe's nicest events to look forward to. How else could it be with a line-up like that! No list of names here because it would just be too long, you can check it for yourself at their webpage www.aurorafestival.gr. Among the artists we can spot three Dacru names with DigiCult and Chronos visiting Greece for the first time and Ephedrix for the second time. The dates for this one are from August 19th to 24th.

From Thursday July 23rd to Sunday July 26th it's the time again for one of Germany's finest and most atmospheric festivals: Spiritual Healing festival! Every year they prepare an excellent line-up and this year is no exception. From Dacru DigiCult will be playing for the second time and other names on the line-up include Chakra, U-Recken, Fatali, Neelis, Star Sounds Orchestra, Bim and many many more. Add various floors offering from full on to prorgressive, old school to chill out, etno jazz to world music and all spiced up with lots of decorations. DigiCult, Chronos and Nemesis will be playing at the Blissful Evolution festival in Portugal. The festival is happening close by a beautiful beach near Lisbon from July 10th to 12th. It’s time for another compilation from Dacru Records concentrating on pure melodic full on. Most of these tunes sound massive, and when I mean massive I mean deep rolling bass lines with lots of shifts, huge melodies and a general feeling in some tracks of a newer Astral Projection. Lots of remixes here too, 4 of the 10 tracks are remixes. With most I don’t even know the originals, so I can’t go into a lot of detail here. Peace Maker’s remix to U-Recken vs. Nitro’s Eternity (T3), for example, is so massive and melodic that I can’t imagine the original being better. But, as I said, I never heard the original so I can’t really judge. What I like about this compilation is the fact that it manages to be melodic without becoming cheesy. The CD can bring a smile on your face, yet still retains a great psychedelic feeling throughout the tracks. The mastering brings this home too, Johannes Reigneir (Silicon Sound) has done a terrific job here, and his expertise in the full on realm can clearly be heard in the loving digital perfection he’s performed here. It was compiled by DJ Nemesis, who did a good job of making this sound like a DJ set. The tracks do have pauses between them but overall it still feels like a set. The prominent names here like Alternative Control, Gataka, U-Recken & Fatali should give you an idea of what this is all about. I’m not really going to point any favourites here because all the tracks have a certain edge to them. In this day of Israeli full on going bad with vocals and stupid experiments that don’t really help the music it’s refreshing to hear a full on compilation that does the job RIGHT. This is what this kind of music is supposed to sound like!

Recomendation:  It all boils down to this. Do you like your full-on with an edge, big basslines, great melodies and lots of drive to it? Don’t hesitate and get this. It has the edge you needs.

Friday June 19th the Psysociety crew is organising the Summerpsy '09 event in Sodring, near Aarhus in Denmark. On the line-up are a few Belgian artists. We have Bitkit from the Naturall Productions crew and DigiCult and Nemesis from Dacru Records. Shiva Chandra is another live project that will warm the Danish ears. We have a few videos ready where you can see DigiCult playing at the Rythm & Culture event in Tuxtla Gutierrez, the capital of Mexican state Chiapas, this past Saturday January 10th. Excellent event!

This Saturday January 10th we close the Dacru Records Mexico Tour 2008-09 with the Rythm & Culture party in Tuxtla Gutierrez, the capital of the enchanting Mexican state Chiapas. The event will be open air and taking place at the old airport. The line-up looks interesting with Injection (Phonokol recs - Israel), DigiCult (Dacru recs - Belgium) and Kali Arikta (Phonokol recs - Mexico) to name just a few artists.

The Mexican Trance It Magazine has just released another edition, number 49 already! They have included a few words on the Sufi album TimeWave Zero in the section named 'los discos' that's dedicated to new releases. Saturday November 29th Audioastral records is organizing the Tanz in den Advent party in Berlin. The German capital will host DigiCult and also Dejavoo, the project of dj Kristian, will bring a live act. Saturday October 18th the Econergic party is happening in Perpignan in the south of France. The organising Psyva crew is putting together 2 areas: a psychedelic one and an electro progressive one. Saturday October 4th DigiCult and Nemesis will be visiting Austria once more. They will be playing alongside Miditec at the Sangoma party organized by Nature Children to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their organisation. Dornbirn is the name of the place where you can catch them.

Canadian DJ Clown will host a spcial tribute to Dacru Records during his show on Techno.fm tomorrow. The show will be aired on Monday September 29th from 10pm to 12pm eastern time. For more info you can click here.

Thursday October 2nd DigiCult and Nemesis are invited to play at another edition of Luna Club in Germany. The event organized by Vibez magazine will take place in the city of Cologne. Special guest on the line-up is Protoculture from South Africa who'll be bringing a live and dj set. For more info, have a look in the DigiCult agenda.

The last party in this Japan tour will be on Sunday September 21st in Japan's second city: Osaka. The Neurosounds organisation is planning it in a nice and cosy club named Clapper. This will be the first chance for the Osaka people to see DigiCult and Nemesis in action!

The next event in the Japan tour is Saturday September 20th when the DMI organisation is presenting an evening at the Studio Club326 in Japan's crazy capital Tokyo. On the line-up we have DigiCult, Ephedrix, Nemesis, Slider from Israel and a few Japanese dj's headed by Kei and Ryosay. Check the flyer for more info or have a look in the artist's agenda's.
On Wednesday September 17th we will have a a label and party promotion in the Quintrix disc lounge, also situated in Tokyo. Nemesis will be playing a set starting at 19h.

From September 5th to 7th the Roenaissance music & art festival will be happening in the north of Italy near Bolzano. The organisation is in hands of Caserorgasmen and some partner crews. As you can read in the topic's title, there's some very excellent news! DigiCult, Ephedrix and Nemesis have been invited to play at one of the world's most prominent festivals: Vision Quest The Gathering! The 2008 edition will be happening from September 13th to 15th. From Wednesday July 16th until Monday July 21st the mega Full Moon festival is happening again in Wittstock at about 1 hours from Berlin, Germany. The line-up can count with hundreds of artists including some of the world leading acts in psytrance, full on, progressive, electro and chill out music. The famous Trancendence festival in Brasil is happening again this year from July 9th to 14th. The location is a beautiful open air spot in Chapada dos Veadeiros in Alto Paraiso. Another video is available from the past Shiva Project VI party in Paris, France. It's a compilation video withs some footage from the build up and the party itself. The music to the video is provided by DigiCult with their track 'Awaken The Dream'. Enjoy.

From Friday June 13th until Sunday June 15th the 'The Time Has Come' festival will be happening in Sweden. The organisation has prepared a very nice and diverse line-up with names as U-recken, Vibrasphere, Penta, Blisargon Demogorgon, Kluster, Gen.6 and many more. Of course also invited are some Dacru talents with DigiCult, Sufi and Nemesis. The festival will take place on the outskirts of Stockholm in a forest near a lake. Wednesday May 21st DigiCult is invited to play in Austria for the first time. The occasion is the Paraworld party, organized by the Paraworld & Psylence crews for an Austrian national holiday. The location is the Florido Beach Club in Vienna. Dj's on the bill include Motsognir, Progressor, Sitara, Thallion and Tommes.

In August it's time again for our annual open air event in the most beautiful part of Belgium: Nova's Incident VII open air! This year we are going for the weekend of August 23rd and 24th to strike down in our amazing location near Liège (Belgium), Aachen (Germany), Maastricht (The Netherlands) and Luxembourg.
Not only the location is excellent, but also the line-up came together pretty well. Lots of live acts on the bill with Alternative Control (Serbia), Hydraglyph (South-Africa), DigiCult, Ephedrix, Aquila, Sufi, Melorix and Fraktophon. On Thursday May 8th the Israeli people celebrate their Independence Day. The Shagaat crew is putting on an event with some top producers of the nighttime sound like Penta, Azax Syndrome, Texas Faggot, Abomination, System Error and more. DigiCult will be providing some of the rare morning sounds at the party. If you are in Israel at the time, then Tel Aviv is the place to be!

The Amsterdam release party with bustrip turned out to be another unforgettable experience! Thanks to all who participated! And also big thanks to our partner in crime Trance Mafia aka the Tribal Meditation crew from The Netherlands.

Saturday May 10th there's the sixth edition of the Shiva Project parties. The event, dubbed Arunachala, is taking place in Paris, France and will be one of the biggest Shiva Project parties yet. On the line-up we have live acts as Quantum (Israel), DigiCult (Belgium), Micro Scan and Sacred Tree Portal (France). There will also be splendid decorations by Rub Biolive from Switzerland and visuals by Psytwin. Two upcoming events in Israel for DigiCult and Nemesis in the weekend of April 18th & 19th. The 18th we have the Yoda Production party with DigiCult live which is taking place near Haifa. The 19th Nemesis will be playing a dj set at the South Africa desert rave presented by the Tsunami crew in the south of Israel. In this last event we'll also see acts as Twisted System and Shift performing. For more party info you can always have a look at the upcoming agendas for both DigiCult and Nemesis.

Friday March 21st we had a Belgian live night as a special at the Dissonant festival in Antwerp, Belgium. Lots of Dacru records artists were invited to come and play at this night hosted by Kairoo records. Catch some videos for DigiCult, Aquila and Sufi below.

The debut album of Ephedrix 'Far Away' is completed and delivered at the manufacturer. All that remains now is to wait until April 17th when the album will have it's official release date. Ephedrix are Jochem Peeters and Joris Marckx from Belgium. They have been producing and performing for many years, but now the time has come to present their long awaited debut full album. Friday March 21st DigiCult was performing at a boat trip party in Israel. This party is the birthday party of our good friend Adi from the U-Kanuba Line crew. Other invitees included Loud, U-recken, Insomnia and more. Check the flyer for more info.

Today, Thursday March 6th, is the day when the second DigiCult full album 'Out Of This World' is released on the world! You can listen to samples and acquire the album for your collection through these links: Wirikuta, Saikosounds and Psyshop.

This year the Dissonant festival will run for 3 days (March 21st, 22nd and 28th). Kairoo records will be hosting the psytrance stage again which will be at Stuurboord/Hangar 26 this year. The new edition of Trancer's Guide to the Galaxy has been released recently. In the 2008 version you can find 30 in scene country profiles where trance is most effective around the globe. As is in the scene worldwide, there is a lot of diversity in the psy-trance genre. More and more the scene is splitting up into four or even five pieces. People tend to only visit parties with their favorite style(s). However, one massive event in 2007 proved, despite all the difficulties, which we are all part of one scene, and nothing can break that apart.
2007 showed us that our scene is rapidly expanding. But the rising costs and the big number of parties in Belgium forced promoters to ask for higher entrance rates, or to set up collaborations, in order to split the investments. Also our problems in the past with the authorities forced us to organize events in a more legal way, what also caused more investments.
Nevertheless we are spoiled and every weekend we can choose from three or four parties, all focusing on a particular style. Kairoo Records and B2B, based in Antwerp, focus on full-on. They both hosted rooms/stages on two of the biggest dance events, with up to 20.000 visitors. The veterans have grown to appreciate the progressive style nowadays.
The well-respected crews of Purple Snow (with founder R’Deem) and Smiley Tribe are focusing on minimal/progressive and have
brought the biggest names to our country. In Ghent, one of the two trance centers in Belgium, progressive is also emerging in smaller club events.
For many years we had Kairoo Records providing us quality releases and EPs. In 2007 they released the well-accepted debut album of Bitkit called Logical. Nowadays Dacru Records and Suntrip Records are taking over. 2007 proved that they have more ambition than just organizing good parties. Dacru Records released the compilation Orientation Vol. 3, a very well accepted release. For 2008 we can expect a lot of this label, with the second release of Digicult and the debut album of Ephedrix.
Also newcomers Aquila and Sufi will release a full album later in 2008. On the darker side of trance we can expect the debut album of Wicked Hayo on Night Oracle Records. Suntrip Records is probably the only melodic Goatrance label nowadays on this planet. In 2007 this Belgium/France combo resulted in the rerelease of the classical Dimension 5-Transdimensional album and the debut of rising star Goasia. For 2008 they announce albums of Dimension-5 member Ra, Filteria and Merr0w. Furthermore I can only hope that we will see the rise of a mind blowing Belgium progressive act, but the future looks promising.
The biggest event in 2007 should have been the fifth year of existence celebration of the Kairoo Records label. Kairoo Records invited some of the major promoters in Belgium to host rooms with full-on, progressive, oldschool/nuschool/Goa, dark and chill out. The government, due to safety issues, canceled the event after it had started already.
The authorities ignored even a positive court advice, so the evening ended with hundreds of people invading the streets in Antwerp. But the event proved that there is still unity in our scene, and despite the big loss, we hope that Kairoo Records will emerge from it foundations.

On Saturday February 22nd DigiCult and Nemesis will be performing in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. Other artists on the line-up include the German act Galactika. For all info you can take a look at the flyers front and back.

We are sorry to announce that DigiCult will NOT be playing in Cologne, Germany this weekend. The booking had been scheduled for a long time, but the NRW Psytrance organisation has shown us inexistent to very bad communication and no respect at all. So even though DigiCult is still announced on some agendas, they will not be performing there.

The DigiCult live act and Nemesis dj set will be available Israel from the beginning of March until the end of May. This is an excellent chance for Israeli promoters to invite DigiCult over to present the new full album 'Out Of This World'. These are the confirmed gigs so far:

Some more videos at YouTube from the Mexico tour 2007-08. Now we have the December 27th party at Cafe Iguana in Monterrey. The Cafe Iguana is one of the finest clubs we've ever seen! Another YouTube video was encountered of DigiCult playing at the Brahva Beats Music fest in Guatemala City this past December 6th. You can't see much of DigiCult, they are out there somewhere on that big stage, but at least you get to hear some nice preview of their upcoming second full album. And you get to see a bit what the party was like... it was goooood!

Saturday the 2nd of February DigiCult will be playing in Xalapa, Mexico. Also Nemesis will a dj set at this evening organised by the Natura Music crew. It will be the first time for any Dacru artists playing in the state of Veracruz. More info can be found on www.naturamusic.org or by checking the flyer.

Saturday January 19th is the date of the second Metamorfosis festival, happening in the coastal city of Tampico, Mexico. Headlining the party we have the DigiCult live act and Alternative Control dj set. Other Mexican invitees inculde the live acts Visua and Undertaker and the dj's Adl, Mushol, Mr Ponce, Maj1ko and many others. More info can be found on www.seretronika.net or on the excellent flyer.

There were two more parties in the Mexico tour that unfortunately we weren't able to announce in advance because of a super busy travel schedule. But both events turned out quite alright, so it's worth it to still mention them at this point.
For new year's eve the tour was pasing in Chihuahua, the most northern point of this tour, playing at a party named Start and Finish by the Karahana crew.



On Friday January 4th Ephedrix was playing in Tlaxcala.

And on January 5th the tour was striking down in Mexico City. In Xochimilco to be more exact. The party took place at a sort of Island in this chinampa area. Apart from the Dacru guys we enjoyed quality Mexican acts as Barak and Antigravity.

Thursday December 27th there will be a Dacru records night at Cafe Iguana in Monterrey, Mexico. The Cafe Iguana is an excellent club with great party atmosphere.The entrance is free so a unique opportunity to check out DigiCult live, Ephedrix live, Nemesis and Oonah. We are spreading our label's sounds all over Mexico. Saturday December 29th another city of the north is receiving a Dacru records party. In Torreón the artists will play at an open air party presented by AE Promote. For more info you can check out the flyer or this website and forum: www.aepromote.com.

We've encountered a short video of DigiCult playing at the Psychedelic Circus party in Puebla this past December 1st. It was the first party in this Mexico tour. Check it out below.

This Friday December 21st the Dacru Records Mexico tour will have a stop in San Luís Potosí. Next to DigiCult and Ephedrix live the party will also provide the crowd with live beats from Bubble and Mojo, both from Mushy records Israel, making this the first party in San Luís Potosí with this many international live acts. This coming Saturday December 15th we start a two week journey through the northern part of Mexico. First scheduled stop is in Celaya in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico. Next to DigiCult and Nemesis also Ephedrix and Oonah will join us! Check out the flyer for the Dacru Records Tour at Celaya to get more party details.

Thursday December 6th DigiCult will be playing a live act in Guatemala for the first time. They have been invited to perform at the Brahva Beats Music fest organized by Empire Promotions. The one day event presents different styles of electronic music and is even started with by Wanakamau, a reggea band from El Salvador. The trance, electro and house beats are provided by Rank 1 (The Netherlands), Oscar G (USA) and Paolo Mojo (UK). The psychedelic part is provided for by Psychotic Micro from Israel and our very own DigiCult, being the only live act presented. The open air fest is taking place at he Hipodromo del Sur in Guatemala City and count on the attendance of several thousands of people!
