I-sondú:I = water + sondú = insect. Guaraní word applied to the wave movements done by a swarm of glowworms while flying through the rainforest at night.
Isondú is a performance inspired by guaraní legends from the Amazon region that tell about the creation of glow worms and other insects. In order to invoke this mythical universe, the actions explore different kinds of light effects, based on the intersection of millenary nature and new technologies. Using the universal language of body-art, light juggling and visual projections, the performance also reflects on enviromental issues related to the growing abuse of agrotoxics on Earth.
Isondu´s main aesthetic influence is electronic culture, particullary the psy-trance scene, which has intensely developed around the world in the last years.
Isondú has been performed in festivals from Argentina, Chile and Brazil and now is on tour around Europe.

Walking from the train station in "Vielsalm":
You can see the station situated at the bottom of the plan
above. From there you take the main road, go right and again
take right at the first possibility (direction 'Rencheux').
Then you need to pass a bridge and go right to take the road
that's going up. Continue untill the end of the street and
there take a left to arrive at the location! In total the
way from the station to the location is only 2km.
